The Party Secretary particularly stressed: "University autonomy is not merely the right to make more decisions. First and foremost, university autonomy is the capacity to elevate one’s own standards." In the upcoming phase, the university requires individuals who dare to take on tasks, assume responsibilities, and drive innovation. Consequently, HUB will evolve into a multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary university with the capability to deliver training in technology, economics, law, and languages—a place that nurtures global citizens equipped with digital mindsets and adaptive resilience. Furthermore, scientific research must become substantive, aiming toward academic integrity and solving practical societal problems rather than merely chasing publication numbers for rankings.

Following the opening, the conference listened to the Report on the Performance Outcomes of the 2025–2026 Academic Year and Operational Directions for the 2026–2027 Academic Year, presented by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung – President. The report highlighted outstanding achievements across all operational fronts—from admissions, training, and quality assurance to international cooperation—while candidly addressing remaining challenges. A notable highlight was the streamlined organizational structure coupled with the enhancement of the academic team, bringing the proportion of faculty holding titles and degrees of Professor, Associate Professor, and Doctor to 63.5%. Training scale was stably maintained, achieving a graduation rate of 88.4% and an employment rate of 99.1% for graduates immediately upon completion. Alongside expanding modern technology-integrated training programs such as AI and FinTech, HUB also recorded breakthrough progress in scientific research, with a 98% increase in research projects/initiatives and a 27% increase in international publications. Thanks to extraordinary efforts in university governance and social responsibility commitments, the university attained ISO 21001:2018 certification and proudly ranked among the world's top 401–600 in the THE Impact Rankings 2026 in its debut participation.
